Great post, Lauren! A touch of humor with a dose of reality. I loved it!

It’s easy to forget that most working professionals are people. Sure, some people like to drown themselves in their work. But most people do “go home” at night and all people deserve respect and consideration in dealing with them. Especially those of you that deal with the dead. There’s not really a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow, so I’m sure it’s easy to get bogged down.

Thanks Lauren (and Caleb!) for representing the profession with class. We’ve all had our share of poor experiences with funeral directors, so it’s good to know there’s a few “good ones” out there.
